Man, where to even begin with this talented girl?!? 

First of all, without her, my first ever styled shoot would not be what it turned out to be! 

Hillary reached out to me around the time I launched Lovely and asked to work together on a styled shoot. Knowing what I know now, I still can’t believe I waited so long to reach back out to her! 

We met one day in a coffee shop to discuss plans for the shoot. And guess what? We had about 12 of the exact same pictures saved. I knew at that moment that this was going to be a match made in heaven! 

We worked so closely together over a couple of months of planning to make sure every detail was just right to achieve our shared vision. Anything that I didn’t think of, Hillary caught it! I think we really made such a great team when it came to planning out the day. She really knew what direction we were going in and stuck to it when I needed her most! I am so honored that she trusted me to make this all a reality.

When the shoot itself rolled around, it was great to see her shine. Hillary makes being a photographer look EASY when we all know it is not. I love that Hillary is so easygoing! I really think she could get along with anyone. I think that is such an important trait to have as a wedding photographer!

During our shoot, when it started raining, we went inside and she continued snapping pictures. There was never a moment of panic. I always felt confident in letting Hillary do her thing. Since the shoot, so many people have complimented that you would have never known it was cold and rainy that day. She captured nothing but pure magic that day!

She made taking pictures and directing the shots look easy! I thought I would be the one directing everything, but Hillary made sure no detail went without being captured.  It was a pleasure to work with her from beginning to end!

Now that I have seen how some of the pictures turned out, I would put all of my trust in Hillary time and time again. I am so grateful to have worked with such a talented photographer!

I truly look forward to the day when we get to work a wedding together. And if not soon, we are going to be forced to plan a destination styled shoot so y’all better watch out!
