Thinking back to the sweetest wedding day celebrating Kirsti and Neil. I am still so honored that they trusted me to be a part of their day!

A fun little side story- Neil actually proposed to Kirsti the day that Lovely officially launched. Such great timing for both of us!!

From the get-go, we were on the same page about everything! Kirsti put emphasis on the details, and you will be able to see from the pictures that it really paid off! For our final meeting, she had me over at her house and we just snacked and hung out for a bit.. all while going over all the details of her wedding day. That night, I got to meet Gunner who is the world’s best dog! (See pictures below of him all dressed up on the wedding day!)

I love the extra touches Kirsti chose to include. She had Grace Paper Co. design all the paper goods. Gracie took care of not only the invitations but everything that the guests had to read—down to the labels for the food! Everything was cohesive, which is a simple way to elevate your guests’ experience. Since Neil loves cookies, they served cookies and milk instead of a groom’s cake. Also, they had warm pizza waiting at the end of the night for all their guests as they were leaving. Kirsti even included ranch for those that like to dip their pizza in ranch. As I said, Kirsti thought of it all! Everything was so unique to the couple but also geared towards making sure their guests had a great time.

From the planning process, wedding day, and even after their wedding, we have shared lots of laughter and made light of a few unfortunate situations. Seriously, I feel like I gained true friends in Kirsti and Neil after being a part of their day. They share such a pure love for each other and their wedding day reflected just that!

Here’s what the groom said about his experience with Lovely Events and Planning:

“Although you worked with Kirsti mostly, I can tell you went above and beyond and definitely helped reduce the stress on her. Everything you were involved in went smoothly and you can tell you take pride in doing your job well!”

It’s true, I really do take pride in making sure the stress does not fall on the couple. It’s your wedding day and you deserve to feel nothing but joy on your wedding day and to have all your expectations exceeded!

Here’s some advice from this couple to other couple’s getting married:

“Take time to enjoy each event and step of the way because it all goes by so fast. Keep in mind the end goal (to be married and live happily ever after) and don't let yourself get too stressed out! And to be there for each other when things do get a bit overwhelming.”

Check out all the fun and beauty from this very happy day below as well as the vendors that helped make everything come to life!
