The Crawford Wedding

 Bryna Perry + Jacob Crawford

June 26, 2020

Bryna and Jacob deserve an award for making it through the planning process still sane! Their original date was set for May 2, 2020. We all know that COVID-19 had something to say about that. As soon as we realized that a May 2nd wedding was no longer in the books due to restrictions and keeping guests safe, we got to work on picking a new date for their celebration. Bryna and Jacob were able to get legally married a couple of weeks after their original date, but wanted to have the ceremony and reception with family and friends as soon as possible. I reached out to every vendor that they had booked to get their availability. We coordinated those availabilities with the few dates that the venue had available within a few months of the original date. It was important to us to try to keep every single vendor they had originally booked. After lots of coordinating, we were able to set a new date, June 26th! This was the one that Bryna and Jacob really wanted when they realized that they would have to reschedule.

The day of the wedding finally rolled around! I was so excited because Bryna and Jacob were having their wedding at Rip Van Winkle Gardens. This property is so beautiful! To get there, you have to drive down a long beautiful road and then, you are greeted by the most friendly peacocks you will ever meet! I made sure the chairs were placed in the right spot to create the aisle just as Bryna and Jacob had envisioned with the beautiful live oak right behind them. We welcomed and coordinated with the different vendors, which I will list below, throughout the day as they arrived to set up their contribution for the day. I am so happy that we were able to keep all of the original vendors and plans that were made despite the obstacles that Covid threw our way. I am so proud of Bryna and Jacob for staying positive despite everything they had to deal with during the planning process because the wedding really was so lovely when it all came together.
As Bryna says, they now get to celebrate 3 different anniversaries- their original date, the actual day that they got married, and then the day of the ceremony + reception with all of their guest. That’s well earned in my book!

Here are the people that made this beautiful day a reality:

One last thing that I remembered while typing up all of the vendors! For the bridal luncheon, Bryna’s bridesmaids each assembled their own bouquet! It was a fun little activity for them to do together. They ended up looking so beautiful!
