On your wedding day, you will have hundreds of pictures taken of yourself!

I will always recommend hiring a professional to do your hair and makeup for big events. It makes a world of difference in the way your pictures turn out. Also, it’s nice to just be pampered and not have to worry about all of those things yourself on the day of your wedding.

For our recent styled shoot, we had Madison of MC Lash and Aesthetics do the makeup for our bride and bridesmaids. Maisie Broussard of Altered Salon did the bride and bridesmaids’ hair. Both were incredible to work with! 

Madison knew the look we were going for and made each of the models feel super confident in their look! She knows how to keep things looking natural and not caked on while also providing coverage that is needed for having the camera in your face at all times. She made our girls look flawless! 

Maisie did an amazing job with the hairstyles as well. She noticed that the wind was very strong the day of our shoot, so she recommended that we do the bridesmaids’ hair up. Although we had the original intention of doing their hair down, this turned out much better! She was able to still keep the bohemian look in their hairstyles, but it was much more practical than having it down. 

Another thing that can be appreciated is that they both know how to stick to a schedule. Hair and makeup take a long time, but Madison and Maisie both showed up early to set up and finished right on time!

After working with both Maisie and Madison, I would recommend them both if you are looking for a hairstylist or makeup artist for your wedding day!
