L’Eglise is a versatile venue located in Abbeville, Louisiana!

If you need a place to have your wedding ceremony, this restored church-turned venue might be the place for you! L’Eglise has a classic design that reflects its history as the former Mission of St. John the Cross. The venue has a strong European ambiance and can house a variety of special events for up to 400 people! They have both indoor and outdoor options for ceremonies, receptions, or both!

The huge windows and tall ceilings make for a bright indoor space. L’Eglise offers a space upstairs (where the choir would normally be in the old church) for brides and their girls to get ready on the day of their event. 

There is a sweet courtyard area on both sides of the church with string lights if outdoor is more your speed! As I said at the beginning, L’Eglise offers lots of variety!

Also, I love that the rental price includes tables, chairs, and table cloths of your choice. They also provide the liquor so that is one less vendor that couples have to coordinate for the day of their wedding. They work closely with Bon Temps Grill if you would like to have them as your caterer. If not, as long as your caterer is licensed and insured, you can bring them along to serve food to your guests! I think it is great that they have all of this in-house.
